App On Board

The interconnectivity of everything continues with apps designed to help you stay connected to your boat before, during, and after the cruise.

Two of the most iconic boat brands — Boston Whaler and Sea Ray — have developed new apps that allow skippers to enjoy an intuitive connection with their boat. Both MyWhaler and Sea Ray+ include digital record-keeping features for items like registration, insurance documents, and boating checklists, plus the phone GPS allows users to record trips and share them with family and friends.

Each app also provides access to current weather information and forecasts. Better yet, you can keep this connection going when you're on dry land, too, because they both include the ability to tap into Nautic-On remote monitoring and diagnostics software. Whaler, Sea Ray, and Nautic-On are all owned by Brunswick Corp.

Both MyWhaler and Sea Ray+ are free and available for download for iOS and Android users. Additional features and functionality will continue to be released on an ongoing basis, according to Brunswick.
