Garmin GHC 50 Autopilot Display Makes Boating Easier

Designed for both powerboats and sailboats, this new 5-inch touchscreen autopilot display boasts easier control and readability.

Garmin has upped its autopilot game with the sleek, all-new Garmin GHC 50 autopilot display. Running your boat just became easier with the 5-inch, high-resolution edge-to-edge touchscreen with an antiglare 800 x 480 WVGA display.

GHC 50 is compatible with Garmin's GHP Reactor autopilots, and because it speaks NMEA2000, it can also feed heading data to additional devices. The unit is waterproofed to IPX7 standards (protected when immersed in 3 feet of water for 30 minutes) and can be flat- or flush-mounted.

"We're excited to continue to enhance the tried-and-true Reactor autopilot series with a modern display that helps makes navigation simple and hassle-free," says Dan Bartel, Garmin's vice president of global consumer sales. "The GHC 50 compliments any Garmin glass helm with its larger, more vibrant display that's easy to see day or night."

As an added bonus, the GHC 50 communicates wirelessly with a Garmin autopilot remote, the GRID 20 remote, or select Quatix marine smartwatches, allowing you to control the system from just about anywhere.

The Reactor series uses solid-state 9-axis Attitude Heading Reference System (AHRS) technology for superior heading hold performance, even in rough water, and offers flexible installation options that require minimum commissioning and calibration. New Reactor autopilot bundles and core packs with the GHC 50 included will now be available for all versions previously sold with the GHC 20. $799.99 | Garmin.com
