The before-and-after photos of Tim Amiero's renovated 1995 Aquasport 200 Osprey.
Before: Exterior
"This project is not going to win any beauty awards, but this baby is where the bow meets the bay! I have a 1995 Aquasport 200 Osprey with a 1995 112-hp Evinrude. When I started, the fiberglass fuel tank showed evidence of decomposing due to ethanol, and the engine had lost the number-three cylinder.
During: Interior
First we replaced the tank and all the fittings, then I discovered the deck was rotted along the transom, so that got replaced, too. We rewired completely, added a hydraulic steering system, and replaced all the electronics and instruments. Under the deck are all new thru-hulls, bilge pump, and raw-water baitwell system.
After: Interior
For the pièce de résistance, we put a new E-tech two-stroke motor on the back and replaced the bimini top with one that allows me to move it when it's closed all the way to the forward storage hold, or in front of the engine for towing purposes.
After: Exterior
So there you have it. No fighting chair, or tables with elaborate woodwork, no cabin, head, curtains, or beds, but I wouldn't trade this boat for anything. We love it and hope to have it around another 20 years."
