BRANFORD, Conn. – May 5, 2026 – Capt. Jeff Dziedzic has expanded his TowBoatUS footprint with the opening of his sixth location, TowBoatUS Branford. The new port sits along the Branford River and will provide 24/7 on-water towing assistance and support to recreational boaters in South Central Connecticut.  

Capt. Jeff, who also owns and operates TowBoatUS Mystic, Clinton, Old Saybrook, New London, and Watch Hill, has been part of North America’s largest on-water towing fleet, TowBoatUS, for more than a decade as an owner. All locations provide on-water towing, fuel delivery, battery jumps, and soft ungrounding services.  

“From doing local boat shows, we found there was a real need for a port on this river. Many of our members would ask us why we didn’t have a location there,” said Jeff. “With the opening of TowBoatUS Branford, we are able to cut response times and help serve our local community, without their support none of this would be possible.”  

TowBoatUS Branford has four U.S. Coast Guard-licensed captains ready to assist and will operate a red response vessel docked at Branford Harbor.  

The port will partner with BoatUS Foundation for Boating Safety and Clean Water, offering hands-on powerboat training lessons on boat control, boat handling, and precision docking for interested boaters. As well as offer behind the helm training for those who want to learn or enhance their boating skills behind the helm.
