Requirements
- A commitment to outstanding customer service and superior professional standards
- 24/7 availability during the boating season
- A valid U.S Coast Guard captain's license with assistance towing endorsment (inland requirements may vary)
- Previous boating industry experience
- A well maintained and marked towing vessel that meets the minimum standards for Uninspected Towing Vessels as set forth by the United States Coast Guard
- Appropriate business insurance
- Compliance with Department of Transportation regulations regarding mandatory drug testing
- Ability to travel to (or virtually attend, if offered) orientation training
- Ability to travel to (or virtually attend, if offered) the annual conference

Our fleet consists of independently owned and operated towing companies that have a license service agreement to trade upon BoatUS and TowBoatUS. The individual company will provide the benefits and requirements of their company and review your application.
