There’s A New Reel In Town: SEVIIN

Any angler worth their salt knows the brand already – but for the sensitivity and strength of its sought-after fishing rods.

There’s big news in the world of fishing tackle for this season. St. Croix Rods has been known as a premier builder of fishing rods and a leader in the market since the 1970s. The company has focused purely on rods and rods alone, until 2024 model year that introduces fishing reels to its lineup.

Marketed under the SEVIIN Reels brand, there are four different model series – for a total of 20 different models – including both conventional casting and spinning reels for the freshwater and saltwater fishing markets.

Despite the different name and website, SEVIIN is a St. Croix brand and fully backed by the venerable rod manufacturer.
