BB McCormick Bridge, Jacksonville Beach, FL, Mile 747: From a Broadcast Notice to Mariners, Coast Guard Sector Jacksonville: The federal channel beneath the BB McCormick Bridge is closed to vessel traffic beginning today, December 8 through December 19, 2008, from 7:00 a.m. till 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. On the closure dates there will be limited opening between noon and 1:00 p.m. and for declared emergencies. The tug Anna is standing by on VHF Channels 13 and 16 for information. Construction is underway on the second high level span across the ICW, in the position of the former opening bridge at that location.

Lady’s Island Bridge, Beaufort SC Mile 536: The bridge tender reports that the bridge is still opening only twice a day, 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. until further notice.
